Beatriz Lizaso is a Women’s Health Physical Therapist and a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT). Beatriz has 21 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist doing what she loves. Beatriz specializes in pregnancy, postpartum, and pelvic floor therapy, osteoporosis, spinal deformities and scoliosis. She completed her training in Pelvic Rehabilitation with The Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in 2009. She completed a classical Pilates certification program with Romana’s Pilates in 2009 where she had the honor of training with a first generation Pilates instructor, Romana Kryzanowska. She was so inspired by The Pilates Method that she went on to complete a comprehensive Pilates for rehabilitation program with Brent Anderson at Polestar Pilates in 2009. At Polestar she had the privilege to work alongside and mentor with elite physical therapists specializing in Pilates-Rehabilitation, Women’s Health and Myofascial Release. Beatriz trained with Dr. Tamara Rial, the creator of Low Pressure Fitness (LPF) and studied the effects of hypopressive exercise on the abdominal and pelvic floor musculature. Beatriz traveled to Barcelona, Spain to train directly with Dr. Rigo and completed her Schroth Barcelona C1 Certification in spinal deformities and scoliosis. Beatriz believes in a holistic approach to Women’s Health. Beatriz is passionate about sharing the knowledge she has acquired throughout her career to empower women to be the best version of themselves physically, emotionally and spiritually.
